Now based in Hobart, Tasmania, Michael continues to bring his passion for music to life as a solo DJ and dedicated MC.
From a movie screen to real life beats
Music was always around me growing up, thanks to my mum and grandparents. Then, I remember seeing the movie 'Pump Up the Volume' in 1990, and straight away I knew I wanted to be a DJ. That moment ignited a lifelong passion for bringing music to people, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels the beat. It's truly my favourite thing about what I do.

One of my most memorable moments as a DJ was seeing guests dance so hard they had to sit down from sheer exhaustion! It's that kind of infectious energy and pure joy that truly shows what I'm all about. My DJ style and the atmosphere I create can be summed up in three words: fun, knowledgeable, and pumped. I thrive on getting everyone up and dancing, making sure every single person feels the vibe.
